"The map is not the territory"
What does this mean?
The map is merely a representation, an interpretation of the world around us. It's useful for navigation, yet it's fundamentally an abstraction and simplification of the complex reality we call the "territory."
And, what is the "territory"?
The genuine, raw experience that happens in the interaction between you and the world around you.
It's the people you meet, their diverse cultures, intriguing stories, quirks, and unexpected turns.
To fully appreciate the territory, we must remember that the map we've constructed, whether through our beliefs, biases, or experiences, is not the totality of our existence.
After all, we are not mere map readers but explorers of life.
